About the item

Spectacular brutalist dining table by Sergio and Giorgio Saporiti. The Sapo table was designed as a modernist piece to make it stand out in the space, and so it does. Because of the strong use of concrete, the table has a strong minimalist yet brutalist look to it.

The foot consists of 1 solid piece of concrete. The glass table on top consists of thickened glass and is held to the concrete block by a mere 2 bolts. The bolts are covered with metal plates to provide for a finishing look.

The overall effect is that the glass plate is floating, which provides for maximum space underneath the table. Apart from its beauty, this design also brings functionality.

The table is very solid built and the materials used are of the highest quality.

About its condition

The table is in good condition, with traces of use on the concrete foot and 2 chips on the edges of the glass plate. This will be repaired before sale.
