About the item:

The cowhorn inspired dining chair by Tijsseling for Hulmefa Nijkerk is an absolute icon of Dutch design.

Produced in the 50s and 60s by Hulmefa Nijkerk for the Propos series, this chair still looks by today’s standards.

Tijsseling (as a company) designed this chair but the exact designer is still unknown to date.

Simplistic in design, but powerful in delivery and very recognizable.

These chairs feature dark Wengé wood frames with skai (vinyl) black upholstery.

All markings present below chair.

About its condition: 

In overall good vintage condition, with some wear visible on the feet. The skai is still in good condition however 1 chair has a small damage (max 2 mm).
