About the item 

A very underrated design yet with so much stance and character; the award winning Brigadier series was designed by Cini Boeri in 1978 for Knoll with the intention of creating the ultimate quality and seating comfort while simultaneously not compromising on the flamboyance of the design.

The result was 2 upright wood blocks finished, connected by seat and backrest in the same material, in high gloss lacquer to form the basic frame. The seating position is neatly affixed in between the frame. The blocks form actual pillars and therefore form the backbone of the design; both in terms of appearance and construction.

The leather cushions rest upon elastic strap bands bound within the seating frame. The leaning part works with integrated cushions resting directly against the backside of the frame. Cini Boeri designed both a low-back and high-back version for the Brigadier.

The lounge set here consists of 2 2-seater sofas and 1 armchair, finished in a high back for optimum comfort. The set has been finished in beige high gloss and beige natural leather upholstery.

All the original Knoll markings are still present, certifying their authenticity.

About its condition 

The set is in a good original condition, with some traces of use visible on the frame and some patina visible on the leather.
